5 PM advisors step down

5-edFive advisors to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have resigned just a week after an ‘all-party’ interim government was formed to supervise the 10th national election.
Hasina’s Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad informed reporters of the resignations.
Public administration affairs advisor HT Imam, economic affairs advisor Mashiur Rahman, health affairs advisor Syed Modasser Ali, education affairs advisor Alauddin Ahmed and energy affairs advisor Tawfiq-E-Elahi Chowdhury tendered their resignations on Tuesday.
Four new advisors were appointed to the Prime Minister recently taking the number of advisors to 11.
After Tuesday’s resignations, the number of advisors has come down to six.
